The Queen’s Club Foundation, the official charity of The Queen’s Club, is delighted to announce the appointment of Hetty Palmer as its new Fundraising Manager. This is a newly created role that reflects the Foundation’s ambition to increase its long-term financial sustainability and reach more people through racket sports and community engagement.
Hetty brings nearly 30 years of experience across the charity, health, public and commercial sectors, with a strong background in fundraising, strategic partnerships, integrated marketing, PR and communications. Most recently, as Head of Marketing, PR & Fundraising at the Kenward Trust, she played a key role in strengthening organisational profile, developing meaningful supporter engagement, and delivering impactful fundraising programmes.
Passionate about sport, fitness and supporting young people, Hetty’s values closely align with the Foundation’s mission to make racket sports more accessible to individuals and communities facing barriers to participation.
In her new role, Hetty will focus on building strong and lasting relationships with members, non-members, corporate partners, sponsors and charitable trusts who share the Foundation’s vision of using sport as a force for positive social impact. She will lead the development of strategic fundraising initiatives designed to create sustainable support and long-term opportunities for the communities the Foundation serves.
The Foundation is looking forward to working closely with supporters through a variety of initiatives, including:
- One-off donations to support immediate community impact
- Friends of Queens Club Foundation Scheme, smaller regular payments helping to create sustainable long-term support
- Major donor partnerships that can deliver transformational opportunities within the community
- Corporate sponsorships and collaborative partnerships aligned with community sport and youth development
Hetty will be based at The Queen’s Club every Wednesday and Thursday and would be delighted to meet with Members and supporters interested in learning more about the Foundation’s work and opportunities to contribute. She will also be free to meet Members during the tournament.
