Junior Friendly Outreach Schools Match

Junior Friendly Outreach Schools Match

On Friday 7th December  to celebrate their first term of playing Squash, we welcomed both the local Outreach Schools who come each week – Normand Croft Community School and Sir John Lillie School, who were joined by St James School to play in a friendly set of matches between the schools.

The Outreach Programme is financially supported by the QCF, and which provides the opportunity for these two local schools to come each week to play the Sports of Real Tennis and Squash.

This was a great fun opportunity for the children to put into practice all the skills they have learnt since starting in the autumn, plus what they have learnt when scoring a match, as when they were not playing, they were busy scoring the matches across the 3 courts.

This was without doubt a great start to their Friday morning!
