QC Statement on Eye Safety whilst playing Real Tennis

You will know that there is much concern over eye safety when playing Real Tennis. The T&RA is currently investigating whether or not goggles should become obligatory on the Real Tennis court.  At the same time, they are looking at different brands to assess which might afford the greatest protection.  Once the T&RA has come to a view, Queen’s will follow any recommendations made.

In the meantime, all Members are asked to consider carefully whether they are comfortable with the risks of playing without goggles. If not, the professionals have various types of goggles available for you to test out at your own risk, should you so wish to do so.
